Hawkmoor Associates – Paul Woodhead:
After 30 years working for specialist divisions ofmajor UK Banks and large independent finance companies, specifically focused on working capital solutions for SMEs across a wide variety of scenarios from new facilities for trading businesses and refinancing of existing facilities right through to MBOs and MBIs.
It is often difficult for SMEs to fit into the seemingly ever-changing prescriptive boxes that many financial providers need to fill to move forward, requiring an experienced ‘interpreter’ to enable a speedy and successful outcome for both sides, especially for the often stretched management team, which needs to concentrate on developing their business.
With this in-depth knowledge of cash flow finance I am extremely well placed to advise business owners and managers about how best to address their cash flow financing requirements. The advice tends to fall into two separate areas –those seeking new facilities and those who want me to confirm that their existing facilities are ‘fit for purpose’.
In addition to Hawkmoor, I am involved with the get mentoring project to assist small businesses (http://getmentoring.org)
When not at work, I am involved trying to train my young Gordon Setter not to follow the antics of my older Irish Setter.
